East Meets West: Transform Your Stress

This stress program is different because it integrates eastern and western approaches to wellness within an holistic framework that has relevance to your life, right now. The approaches that we draw upon will help you to contact your intuitive self and devise concrete and simple ways to transform your stress into something that works for you.

Designed for people who need effective ways to recognise and transform their personal responses to stress, this course uses both conventional and alternative approaches to transformation at all levels. You will learn how to make positive changes at the intellectual, emotional, physical and social levels of your individual well-being. By building on a basis which identifies your major sources of stress and your personal stress reactions as individuals, you will develop your own personal repertoire of strategies. Drawing on yoga techniques, in the final session, you will learn how to achieve a deep state of relaxation - (You can't be stressed and relaxed at the same time!!). Comfortable clothing recommended.
